Through our charitable initiative TITAN Impact , we are proud to announce a one-year sponsorship of Danske Hospitalsklovne – a Danish non-profit organization that works to provide emotional relief and joy to children during hospital stays.
Laughter and empathy that spreads smiles
Danske Hospitalsklovne , or “Danish Hospital Clowns”, helps to strengthen the well-being of children being treated in hospitals by creating moments of comfort, joy and connection during difficult times. Unlike traditional volunteers, their clowns are professionally trained artists who work closely with healthcare staff and offer holistic support.
At the heart of their work is the clown method – a therapeutic method based on developmental psychology. It is based on presence, improvisation and empathy , which allows each clown to adapt the encounter to the child’s emotional state.
The organization currently has 69 active hospital clowns , and a further 14 are in training. All receive ongoing training and supervision to maintain a high quality of care.
